The Zvonik, or bell tower, of St. George’s Parish Church is one of the most recognizable landmarks in Piran, Slovenia. Standing tall on a hill above the town, the bell tower offers stunning views of the Adriatic Sea, the town’s red-roofed buildings, and the surrounding coastline. Modeled after St. Mark’s Campanile in Venice, the Zvonik has become a symbol of Piran’s Venetian influence and maritime history.
